Townsend Estates & Trust carries forward a family story with roots in New Haven in the 1870s. Today, Scott Townsend leads the family enterprise with a belief that prosperity carries a responsibility to others.
Inspired by Diana, Princess of Wales’s commitment to service, he considered how meeting people’s needs could give them greater freedom to contribute in turn. That idea continues to inform the estate’s purpose: to nurture family resources with care and use them to create a lasting positive impact.
